Membership FAQ'S

Thank you immensely for your support! You can become a member of SKZ by signing up through our website here. You can choose to set up a membership for yourself or as a heartfelt gift for a loved one. This is a unique and meaningful way to share your commitment to improving the lives of those in slum communities. Joining SKZ is more than just becoming a member; it’s a commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of people in slum communities, and your involvement is greatly appreciated.

When you participate in our “Adopt a Child” initiative, your commitment stands as a beacon of hope for children living in slum areas. Your symbolic adoption speaks volumes about your dedication to nurturing, educating, and fostering a brighter future for these children.

We kindly request a monthly contribution of 35 pounds towards this transformative cause. Your contributions directly aid the child you are symbolically adopting and also support our broader efforts to uplift the lives of numerous other children living in challenging conditions across the world.

Upon adoption, you will receive an information email containing a photograph of the child you’re symbolically supporting, a glimpse into their life in the slums, their hopes, and aspirations, along with information on our initiatives aimed at enhancing their life quality.

In addition, you will receive a certificate of adoption as a token of appreciation for your invaluable support.

We will send you updates about the progress of the child you’re supporting. These updates will offer a firsthand account of how your generous contribution is transforming their life.

Please note, while your adoption is symbolic and does not entail legal responsibilities, it signifies your commitment to contribute regularly and ensure a better future for a child living in slum conditions.

You can set up an adoption by going to our “Adopt a Child page on our website skzfoundation.uk and pressing the tab “Donate Now.

Your donation depends on your monthly input towards the project.

As long as you keep donating  for the noble cause, your membership wil continue.

If you have a UK bank account, a Direct Debit is a great way to support us; regular gifts by Direct Debit mean charities have a consistent, predictable income, so we can plan and budget better across our projects.

Please note, a Direct Debit is an ongoing payment. You can cancel at any time either through your bank or by letting us know through the details on our “Contact us page”.

You can also choose to donate on our Bank accounts as follows:

As a member of SKZ, you can actively demonstrate your commitment to enhancing the lives of those in the slum communities, ensuring a better future for them and generations to come.
