The SKZ Foundation is dedicated to changing this reality, providing a pathway for children to escape the cycle of hardship.

In Lahore’s slums, only half of the children manage to complete primary school, and a mere 5% progress to higher education. These young lives face severe obstacles: bullying, abuse, and a stark lack of resources force many to drop out. Left vulnerable, countless children turn to begging, drugs, or fall prey to exploitation. Each year, thousands of street children are victims of horrific abuse, while two-thirds experience physical violence. Health concerns add another layer of hardship—30% of slum children suffer from malnutrition, while nearly a third remain unvaccinated, their resilience dimmed by preventable diseases. These are the silent struggles that shape their futures, trapping them in cycles of poverty and despair.
This is the reality for children who yearn for the chance to learn, to thrive, and to be safe. They deserve so much more.

Our mission is to build a proper school in Lahore’s slums—a place where children can learn in a safe and conducive environment, free from the constraints of inadequate infrastructure.
This New School will not just be a building; it will be a beacon of hope and a symbol of optimism for the community. By replacing the limited container classrooms with a dedicated, large school building, we can provide a nurturing space where education is prioritized, and where every child has the opportunity to thrive.

The SKZ Foundation has already supported 150 children, offering them free schooling, meals, clothing, and the guidance they need to realize their potential. The initiative began with a few university students teaching under a tent and has now grown to a rented facility. Yet, more children come each day, and a permanent school is essential to expand the reach.
Our vision is to create a permanent solution: a dedicated school building that will accommodate 500 children. This new space will provide them with the stability, resources, and support they need to thrive.
